How It Works
How does Consigning Work?
**NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING CONSIGNMENT DROP-OFFS UNTIL MAY 6th**
If you live in Yellowknife, Dettah or N'Dilo and have clothing, footwear and smaller baby gear that you would like to consign you can drop your items off during our store hours. Our store hours are Monday to Saturday 10-4 PM
If you do not live in Yellowknife, you can mail in your items. Please email borealkidsco@gmail.com for mailing address. The consigner is responsible for the shipping costs.
We provide a 40% return on items sold. E-Transfers (over $10) are sent to the consignors at the end of each month. If items are not sold after three (3) months, the clothing will either be returned to the original consignor or donated to a local charity at the consignor's discretion.
During the consignment period your items may periodically go on sale. Sales may include, but not limited to: Flash Sales, 12 Days of Christmas, Anniversary Sales, Boxing Day Sales etc. Your commission for the item will be adjusted to 40% of the sale price.
All clothing must be in good, clean condition. We will not accept items with rips, stains or discoloration. Any items picked up in poor condition or do not have a tag/clear label with size and brand will go straight to donation. We no longer return brands that we do not carry or clothing that is stained, ripped or in poor condition.
When you drop off your items, please allow us 3-4 weeks to process your items to get them up on the website and tagged on the floor.
We do have a vendor portal where you can monitor your sales and payouts. Here is the link: https://borealkidsco.com/apps/vendor-portal/ however, we cannot connect your account until all your items have been entered. We will also send this out to you once all your items are up on the website. We do this once a month.
Women’s 2 piece swim suits must have the matching top/bottom with them. We will not accept random bathing suit bottoms & tops.
No hand knitted/crocheted items without brand/size tags.
No Women’s Footwear
No Scrubs
2 reusable bag limit per drop-off. No garbage bags.

Returns
Returns can be processed as long as it has been before the consigner has been paid out (I.e. before the end of the month that you purchased the item).
Sale items are FINAL SALE. No returns or exchanges can be processed.
